These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Animmo (the "Website"), operated by the operator of Animmo ("we", "us"). By accessing or using the Website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
Who can use the Website
The Website is intended for a general audience. You must be at least 13 years old to use it (16 in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, or the minimum age required by the law where you live). If you are under the age of majority, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.
What the Website is
Animmo is an anime discovery guide. It provides information about anime series and films (titles, synopses, genres, studios, scores, episode counts and airing schedules), news headlines, trailers and links to where you can watch.
- We do not host or stream full episodes of licensed anime. Episodes shown on the Website are official uploads embedded from the rights holder's own YouTube channel, where the rights holder has chosen to publish them for free.
- "Where to watch" links take you to licensed services such as Crunchyroll, Netflix and others. Those services are operated by third parties under their own terms, and some require a subscription.
- Airing times and episode counts are estimates based on public schedules and may change without notice.
Third-party content and data
- Series information and artwork is provided through the AniList API. Cover images, banners and other artwork belong to their respective studios, publishers and licensors and are shown to identify the titles they depict.
- Trailers and official episodes are embedded YouTube videos. By watching them you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms).
- News items show a headline, image and short summary from the original publisher, together with a link to the full story. The full article, and all rights in it, remain with the publisher.
We do not control third-party websites or services and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or practices. A link to another website is not an endorsement.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape or republish the Website's content or data in bulk, or use bots and automated tools that place an unreasonable load on it;
- try to download, record or redistribute embedded videos, or circumvent any technical protection;
- post or link to pirated copies of anime, manga or other copyrighted works;
- harass other users, post spam, or share anything illegal, hateful or sexually explicit in comments;
- use the Website in violation of any applicable law.
Comments and user content
You are responsible for anything you post, including spoilers, so please be considerate. By posting you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it on the Website. Comments may be moderated and we may remove any post at our discretion.
Copyright and removal requests
We respect the rights of creators, studios and publishers. If you believe something on the Website infringes your copyright, or an image, summary or link should be removed, send a request through our form at /dmca with the page address and details of your rights. We review requests promptly and remove material where appropriate. Repeat infringers will be blocked.
Intellectual property
The Animmo name, logo, design and software are owned by Animmo or its licensors. Anime titles, characters, artwork and trademarks belong to their respective owners, and no affiliation with or endorsement by them is implied. Nothing in these Terms transfers any rights to you except a limited, revocable right to use the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Website and its information are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, including as to the accuracy of schedules, scores or availability on third-party services. To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100 if you paid nothing.
Changes and termination
We may update these Terms, change or discontinue any part of the Website, or restrict access at any time. The date at the top shows when the Terms last changed; continued use after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's place of business, except where consumer-protection law in your country gives you additional rights.
